Kalong Island sunset views over the Flores Sea

Kalong Island Labuan Bajo is a small island located not far from Komodo National Park. This island is known as one of the islands in Labuan Bajo which has beautiful natural resources and is very effective in attracting tourists from various places to come.

Kalong Island is home to thousands of wild animals that still exist and depend on it for their lives. Including monkeys, birds and reptiles. Apart from that, Kalong Island also has various types of beautiful coral reefs. There, visitors will easily find many exotic trees which are the habitat of millions of giant bats or better known as bats. Kalong Island Labuan Bajo is an uninhabited island but has very beautiful natural charm, especially at sunset.

The name Kalong is taken from the name of a giant bat, therefore, on this island there are millions of bats that depend on the mangrove trees there. With bats still living and breeding there, this indicates that is still very natural and rarely touched by humans.
